Shaketown is a small town, between Philosophia and the Heartland. Shaketown has more visitors than inhabitants. All kinds of people come to this place : musicians, gamblers, witches, thieves, dancers, outlaws, jelly-faced women , gunslingers, amazons, trappers, lost lovers, waitresses, wise men and fools. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
Once upon a time there were famous battles in Shaketown. Everybody remembers "the Battle against Dullness", "The battle of Wisdom" and "the Battle of Bad Taste". None of these battles were ever won or lost. The fight is still going on, every hour, every minute...
Regularly, there are strange things happening in town. All kind of ghosts show up or disappear into a burning ring of fire. Shaketown has been visited frequently by ancient phylosophers, writers, artists and critics. It's easy to link up with them. Sometimes their heads are reflected in a window of a local shop. Sometimes they're just sitting by a porch, playing a poker game or watching the river flow. Shaketown has always been the place where the angels' voices whisper to the souls of previous times.
Yeah, there's a lot of magic in Shaketown, and some loss to even things out. Just one thing before you leave. You won't find Shaketown on a map. It's a State of Mind.
